Sure guy....if you're standing still that weapon block works on spells about 50% of the time. Weapon block works zero percent of the time when you're moving though. Quit RMT'ing your gear and try out pvm sometime. You may learn that tgods can prevent a shitty death to souls. Also, finding two truly GG claws isn't common and may not even happen within a ladder. Weapon block is more commonly used early on before hoto/ss combo is found. Softcore Sally's mindset at it's best though. Try out a HC ladder and see how often your trapper ends up with 2 GG claws that actually out perform hoto/ss survivability and damage. 🤷‍♂️

The claws don’t have to be GG. On a budget you can literally get a random GT with 3 sockets and 3ls. Throw in 3x shael and boom you have max trap speed on a super budget. Then your other claw can be plague. Last I checked, Cham is cheap AF.

You get 56% block with 1 skill point. Thus making it so you don’t dump points into Dex, and nerfing your life.

Not to mention you have more damage.

Not to mention claw block blocks virtually all attacks, as opposed to shield block that only blocks physical attacks.
