Put passion in offhand, put grief pb in main hand.

Typical melee gear

Guillames or arreats
Highlords
Fort or enigma
String of ears
Laying of hands
Gores
Passion offhand, grief pb mainhand

Torch, anni, enough +1s to hit 5 attacks with zeal

Max out battle orders and sword mastery.

After that do whatever you want.

I think I maxed shout, iron skin, rest of points into find item.

Used a token for shits and giggles and maxed battlecry, level 26 made it so i literally did not require attack rating.

Obviously its going to play like a zealot, but way fucking tankier.

i tried it with my gold barb. grief + passion, turns out its great! wow thank you, iam gonna try it! didnt think about the two weapon spots on barb.
btw torch gives you +barb skill which doesnt work with +zeal. but anni+bo+highlords+bk should do it!

Barb has a lot of offbeat builds that are actually fun thanks to the dual wield mechanic.

I dont remember where I saw that build but it does a pretty good job and having all your skill points free can turn the barb into a real tank. Defense is kind of a joke for most builds but maxed out shout and iron skin, easy 20k defense or more especially if you use fort with the frost armor proc.
