I had a item poof cuz of rollback, now i use 10-15min before i start to game in the lobby and clicking the gem until it says «Perfect Gem Activated» never had any items poof after i started doing that.

So it looks like all those people posting about poofing items weren't crazy.

1) D2 character save files have a maximum size (that hasn't changed since classic), but now we have more stash space.
2) More stash space = more items
3) More items = bigger save file
4) Exceed max file size = poof

Looks like crafted/rare items take up more file size space, which is why more people have been having stuff disappear while crafting big packs.

I would just make sure you have lots of empty space?

So if we’re stashing valuables, do it on a mule not in shared stash..
But we can use shared stash to safely xfer providing it’s not maximum capacity.
