tl:dr
with phaseblade base items + fana aura 27+ you need 48% ias on gear to reach 5 fpa and 194% ias to reach 4 fpa

with berzerk axe base items + fana aura 27+ you need 138% ias on gear to reach 5 fpa

other effect of this:
d2 lod: any grief would reach max 6 fpa
d2r: is the same for 6fpa, but now you want reach 5 fpa imo

ie: i have a grief and only want put a jewel of 15%ias on my gear: grief 33 + ias 15 = 48 ias% needed to reach 5 fpa

Second, a math question... if I'm using a flail (Black), which is -10 speed vs the -30 on a PB, do I just add 20% IAS to reach the 5fpa breakpoint?

Nope

you can't reduce the wsm with anything (just bugs), so if you use a flail (-10 wsm) you need calc with this thats why bases in d2 is so important

so for flail -10 you would need 99% ias to reach 5fpa, now you can use gear ias such runes, gloves, ammys and weapons

cuz I show u video evidence and instead you rely on assumptions based on puny math instead smh

there is no puny math, only right and wrong, all we have is the math provided by the files, how you would test this without math? +1% speed charms and cheering to see the speed?

with only your video you cant explain nothing, really nothing because how you can say what is 7, 6, 5 or 4 fpa? or how you could even try 27 fana aura with pb without someone try to show a north?

overall the video lack 2 things, bnet server and non hero editor, i believe the video can be right because this is d2r and not d2lod full code, but as i said, you can't do tests with "see is faster" you need math..

and tbh i was joking with you, idk even why you go in salty mode.. and again thx for your time doing tests, if you wanna continue i'll be glad to see fana 27 + phaseblade in 194 too because is the same formula

first video had breakpoints at 46 and 194 both with fanaticism lvl 27 and phaseblade
