The only time things disappear when you join someone elses game, is if you have a duplicated item in your inventory. This game was setup to where if an item with the same unique ID is in a game with the SAME item, the dupe will disappear. This has been in place for over a decade. Sorry for your loss.

It's a feature built into the GPU, you can rewind whenever to rewatch whatever.. it's not like sitting there streaming your game. It's a fail safe.

Sure, but it has a cap on how far you can go back. I tried to catch myself selling my Gheeds (or it disappearing), but it took me longer than 20 minutes to notice (which is how long I have my shadowplay set to).
