wand is not king for lifetap

exile + draculs is ^@^

once each season gets going you can usually find crappy non-eth low stat exiles extremely cheap

(& low stat dracs also easily)

ofc at this point you can also snag a cheap grief also :D


special consideration and note:
when choosing any setup remember curses override each other, [they do not stack], so you would (usually) NOT want to stack life-tap + decrepify (lawbringer + exile/drac)

I like hoz and steelrends tho I don’t need cta since bo barb does it better so a simple w cast life tap so you don’t even have to pray for %cast and it last long enough to kill the boss

Exile overrated imo was good with ebug gave massive defense but I’m still at 47kdef with just shout so meh hoz does more damage

edit: some old post one guy tested and the conclusion: same gear grief vs same gear black was 44 sec grief vs 52sec black

but this was a post about best non-hr smiter weapon in the beginning

which means you probably wouldn't have exile
