Does anyone know how much cold resist the monsters in hell act 5 on Shenk have?

I have a it maxed and it doesn't seem to work, and if it work damage I do is less than the few points fireball regular blizz build, am level 88 decent geared
it does not break immunities

certain monster will still be immune to ur cold skill, I did some test run last night. the caster knight inside the chaos will always be immune. and my sor has -235% cold mastery + infinity, there r some monster u cant break.

yes, point is that this is not game breaking like people think

only on a2hell or lower. it doesn't do a ton of damage but enough to clear with no problem. I hear once you try it in A3 you their resis is too high for cold mastery to lower their resis enough.

Not sure if this is a bug or working as intended. It doesn't work in classic d2 but they said they basically copied the game and added everything on top, so they didn't code it exactly the same or the new engine accepts the codes values logically and it makes sense if your using -resis items / skill

I have no clue how coding works when working on a game, so don't take anything I say to be even a shed of I know what I'm talking about lol.

also I heard the person was using full -5 faucet setup so not sure how far it works without buffed gear.

With CR -115 RES i can deal very little dmg to him, but i didnt seem to dmg his minions at all.

I can also deal very little damage to zombies in Act 1 with 120 CR, but the damage is so low that it would take minutes for them to die.

better off making a infinity with that gold towards -res gear and making a light sorc instead.

Ive been fine with max firewall/Mastery/orb and rest in cold mastery.

Im in my 70s and my cold mastery is like base level 11 or 12 or something like that and i have 7+ skills atm and i solo'd my way to matriarch

everyone says firewall but hydra works great. i use that setup on hccl when .10 first happened. orb and hydra, you can kite and let hydra do all the work or try to tank and throw firewalls with 10 mobs on you. always can respec if you think it sucks but it's better than firewall.

Too much synergies

Literally maxed 3 skills and pump cold mastery and theres no areas i have to skip

And ill prolly just use my last respec to go orb/fireball when i get geared up nicely enough to have like 12+ to skills and 105 cast
