It's simple. Choose the region you want to play on before you launch the game. You are now playing in that region.

I’m wondering in actual games what determines what server the game is run off? Not what region, what SERVER

So i play from europe, and wanna join my homies in the US. Do i need to manually select US servers before i log in like in the Beta? That would be so fking sad, instead of all players can see all games at anytime from wherever..

If that is the case, like in the beta. I CAN join US players from EU, but i must exit the game and change it every time i wanna see games from US/EU/ASIA .. :/

Oh I think I am starting to get what you are asking. Are you asking that once you have selected a region, which actual server you will be playing on?

I don't know computers for shit but don't you need to have hacked into B.net to really know which of blizzard's servers you are playing on?

Most likely how other games work:

Creator of the game is "Host" so his/her closest server if he leaves then it jumps to the next person that entered or a random person or just doesn't change at all.

Your asking questions that no one on jsp will be able to answer because blizzard hasn't given specific guidance on how the system works.
