Yep well, we'll see on release I guess.

I tried both sandboxie as well as sandboxieplus, running from different installation folders, even tried running one battle.net in sandboxie as well, everytime I try to join a game though on the sandboxed instance, it crashes or hangs on black screen.

So two instances of D2R beta, both on seperate PC's, is the most I can do for now.

With 4 PC's you are already set to run 4 instances at least. But I can imagine you might want to run 8 all things considered. If I had 4 capable PC's, I would be tempted to do so myself.. But I'll stick to (hopefully) a tri-box for release, if I can get that at least to run two in one machine.

Can setup virtual machines and run multiple instances that way. It is built into windows 10 and easy to setup.

Forgive me it's been almost 20 years since I last played d2....what is glitch quest a boss?
My guess is that it means creating the game with the other player (with the quest already done) so that you can't complete the quest yourself?

Yes, and then when you kill with the character that has quest pending but “cannot complete” you will get quest drops upon kill. This only happens when you kill a boss for the first time (or quest bug).. their loot table is much better than normal.

This process can be a bit of a pain but totally worth it. Act 1 boss is the only exception to how this is done. Andy doesn’t require you to do this trick…. She can be bugged permanently by simply going straight to Act 2 upon killing her without leaving the game.
