Indestructible runewords are there for this reason : BOTD, Death, Oath, Eternity ... Even Obsession though you would not want it for the weapon damage it sure would be powerful on a warlock.

It also increases the value of other runewords like Obediance which has insane damage for dirty cheap runes.
