In to just say I miss the old D2 Baal bots, it was like a free leveling service you could join at any time, never worried about finding one, and didn't need to make a mad rush to join the next game. Good times

Yeah, I enjoyed them as well. Especially the ones that didn't leave after you hostiled + Pk'd them for super easy gold for your pvper.

And I enjoyed the ones that never picked anything up lol.

true, also anybody who wasn't too computer illiterate could set up their own. i leveled all my pvp chars in lod to 98 with baalbots/leechbots, now in d2r they're all stuck at level 90 because there's no way i'm sitting for dozens of hours in baalruns fighting for my spot after each game

Yep, the multiple popular bots that existed publicly especially 1.11-1.14a
were all so easy to setup along with the fact that basically everyone had a friend that either ran their own that you could leech from or knew someone who ran private baals you could easily setup a leecher on and there was a billion tutorials.

Nowadays it's too risky + all of that stuff has a monthly fee attached to it so it's not even worth it.
