Don't know how time consuming it is to perform the soul ritual while you could already be farming.

But now, terrorizing whole acts, I can see a possibility of this being slightly beneficial, yes.

if you perform it well it's about 5mins, counting ritual.

some builds will have less trouble than others setting it up.

I'll go do one right now and time it and let you know. Typically I just go straight to City of the Damned and find a pack of souls in under 45 seconds or so then clear out the extra crap. You don't have to actually stay for the entire ritual, just until they start making the devil icon, then you can leave.

But I'll account for the time I go to stash and put on tgods + wisp as well and let you guys know, but I assume it'll take 3-4 minutes, maybe a little more than 2-3mins if you get lucky.

And yeah it is useful if you're terrorizing entire acts.

I like great marsh because you dont have to get through a whole area to get there.

Just did it on my 200 fcr nova sorc. Took 3:53, so a little under 4 mins. I timed it from when I entered the game, went straight to stash and put on sorb gear and then went straight to City of the Damned and just teleported southwest, took maybe 20ish seconds to run into a pack of 5 or maybe 6. Cleared the area pretty quickly, but didn't notice I had 5 and they did the "fake" ritual, so I lost like 50 seconds just from that lol.

Should I test a run from the great marsh?

nope you need to stay in the area where they are drawing the letter

if you leave early or kill a soul while they are drawing its -150mf per soul killed and per letter you miss

Yeah I think if someone is gonna run all 5 TZ shards in a single game then spending a few minutes for the MF trick is very possibly going to be the most efficient way to farm sunders.
