Possible solution...

If you're on Steam, this worked for me.


  • Right click Diablo II in game library.
  • Properties.
  • Installed Files.
  • Verify integrity of game files.



  • Alternatively, under the same Properties Menu...
  • General
  • Launch Options
  • add "-address us.actual.battle.net"
    You may switch "us" to "eu" to switch back and forth to test between US and Europe servers. Close and relaunch the game between changing these options.


You know... I'll always accept fg tips for this solution if it works for you. :thumbsup:
