Charger is my favorite pvp build, but you're wasting your time trying to kill smiters.
If you're quick you can ct in charge once then leave. Rinse and repeat, but you'll eventually lose.
Get a Phoenix charge kb into smite and reset. Once you get a hp lead you can hold smite

Use a full inv of Pcombs. Max ar life over rated on a charger imo. Keep 75fcr most of the times but vs a smiter 30 or 48 is enough. Make up lack of frames with ct

problem is, charger fundamentally can't duel portal barbs. the aoe is too large and if you walk within range your charge animation/sprite wont fire and you will get one shot. only viable paladin build might be a pangolin Foh build where u name lock the barb before they are prebuffing bportals then foh
