You made me create a jsp account...

Nice Static Field table. at least give some credit or something. You are incorrectly reading the data!
It says in column headers: Enemy Lightning Resist after Lower Resist and/or Conviction. Table doesnt show damage for positive values like 95res (sundered).

correct values are:
static: 26.45% / 33.84% / 38.10% / 25.5%

correct values are:
static: 32.5% / 24.25% / 20% / 8.75%
(no Conviction and only -30 ELR): monster res values are: -30/3/20/65

correct values are:
static: 43.75% / 35.5% / 31.25% / 20%
(no Conviction and -75 ELR): monster res values are: -75/-42/-25/20

Nope, the values I wrote are correct.

In the first case, you "corrected" the setup 1. as if it was doing 25.5% static dmg vs sundered mobs.
It's 95 - 17 - 85 = -7% final res
25% * 1.07 = 26.75%
(not 25.5)
As you said it yourself, in this case the final res after conv is not below zero.

On your 2nd attempt at correcting me, it seems you assumed that we are casting static on CTA side? (I guess that's why you said -30 ELR and no conviction)
It's the same self-wield infinity setup as 1. but using ormus instead.
So it's the same static % dmg values against those same light res mobs as we get the same -ELR and conv lvl, just different data for nova but not static.
26.45% / 33.84% / 38.10% / 26.75%
(not 32.5% / 24.25% / 20% / 8.75%)

And on your 3rd point, you just rewrote in bold the exact same values I already gave for the orb setup, with -75 ELR and no conviction.

So everything is correct.
I guess that's why you edited your comment?

That said... About the small portion you left from your original comment...
are you the guy on reddit who added those colors to the original tables?
It's a nice add, helps visualizing what's more effective, props for that if that's you!
Anyway, the first thing I found while looking for an old data source about static was this images from a more recent 2022 reddit post by a user with the same name as you here, so I guess it's plausible that you are the same reddit user.
But that reddit post was just an image, no added text, so it's hard to give credit based only on who shared an image.
That post didn't give any credit to onderduiker, one of the main contributors of the amazon basin who, as far as I know, was the first to come up with all that data in 2006.

Anyway, this whole post is not about static, I already posted the full overview of it many years ago, similar to the image linked here.
The whole point was about nova builds comparison, as I'm just tired of seeing people debate about what's best while they just insult each other without caring about what's the truth.

So... I send love to anyone who's ever contributed to the hive mind of the many researches ever conducted on D2
