Update : Just wanted to share my update. Im using d2r Loader to load up 2 accounts, with much lower settings then my main screen, and i have the alts on my 2nd monitor. It feels a bit slow, but if those chars get grushed then i guess ive got my p3 for farming which was the goal, and mule storage. Id like to figure out some of these mods but dont want to risk ban (videoskip) but thats where im at for now, thanks for all the help...ill help others how i can via pm with what ive learned if needed.
I presume by 'lower settings' you've set a frame rate cap so all your instances aren't battling each other for GPU resource.
To claw back additional performance, you can also set instances that aren't your active window to have a limited frame rate, this can be done with AMD and nVIDIA GPU's.
There's a video on YT on how to do this (not by me) specifically for D2r called "Set Background FPS for D2R or Other Games AMD & Nvidia". I can't link here because it this site has odd rules.
