Yea ladder had TONS of pvp and pvp was the only reason people remade their chars every ladder... + :rofl:

PVP was for the minority of d2 and always has been.

well if u read the last paragraph in the 2.4 preview thing they posted on the bnet launcher. You will see those ladder only runewords are gonna support and synergize all the new buffed builds ... so all the stuff they lookin to buff (ex: bone nec skills, fire druid, un-used sorc skills, combat skills on barbs, martial art sins, FOH pally and offensive auras, Fend and Impale spear zons ...) all of those are gonna be what the new runewords will focus on.

So just off my head for prediction.
martial arts sin runeword made in claws
Foh pally scepter runeword and another scepter or shield to buff offensive auras (id say weapon would be best cause then they could take advantage of dreams and dragons)
barb helmet only runeword to buff whatever combat skills they changing
druid helmet only runeword to buff fire skills
some shit amazon spear runeword for fend and impale and maybe another amazon only bow runeword for fire arrow builds.
finally a sorc orb runeword to buff whatever skill they buffing
Necro runeword to be made in a necro head offhand... as i doubt they would give another wand runeword as white already is the best "Poison n Bone wand for damage)

OR they are actually "ladder only REWARDS" where once u complete bullshit diablo 3 style achievements and tasks... u unlock the "ability" to make these new runewords on ur non ladder chars once the ladder rolls over to Non ladder. And then the following new ladder, there will be more runewords to unlock again.


That seems like a lot more work than just adding new runewords m8.

Going to disagree and say you are looking at it the wrong way.
They worded it badly is all.

This all sounds great until the servers break again because more people will start playing and all of you will be back here crying for a refund.
