It does show up

No, the double dip does not. Just the initial cast of hex:bane does for +magic damage %. The double dip works in practice but doesn't show on the character screen in my testings. I should be able to confirm this with video evidence tomorrow

The first weapon you have on has more +magic damage %, but does less overall damage than the one with less +magic damage %. It's just because the physical damage is higher on the second weapon.

This proves that it doesn't show the double dip on the stat screen, in fact.

🤘

So the hex bane buff shows correct damage, but the % increase from gear after you’re buffed doesn’t show up, am I understanding?

Yes, it shows the initial increase damage, but not the double dip damage. So it's only showing half for the magic damage +% increase portion. The -enemy magic resistance is of course also not shown on the stat screen too, per usual.

I did it with a maxed out Mist here:
https://youtu.be/f3pZSb3Dw0M?is=_QGOoDN2K_wOlZzr

Buriza or WW would do it quickest though because of the added physical damage. This was just a test to see how little gear I needed to change to do the ubers with my mistlock.

Nice! Ty for sharing!

I'll go with different setups as I'm on HC ladder. In my view, when life drops to 60%, it's almost dead.

My weapon will be Buriza-do(non-upgd) unfortunately...

https://sins-of-the-sun.github.io/warlock-ias-calc/?skill=mirroredBlades&skillLevel=33&ias=130&hexPurge=0&fanaticism=0&markOfTheBear=0&burstOfSpeed=0&holyFreeze=0&decrepify=0&chilled=0&slowPercent=0&weapon=Colossus+Crossbow+%5B10%5D&weaponName=Colossus+Crossbow&wsm=10

130 for Mirrored Blades on Buriza for 12 fpa
You'd need Buriza Shael and 30 ias from gear (20 from hellwardens)
Buriza at 80 will give you 13fpa with the 80ias without any other source
100% pierce tho

If you use a Demon Crossbow (Upped Demon Machine or Mist in a Demon Crossbow)
You dont need any IAS
You are already good at 11fpa

https://sins-of-the-sun.github.io/warlock-ias-calc/?skill=mirroredBlades&skillLevel=33&ias=20&hexPurge=0&fanaticism=0&markOfTheBear=0&burstOfSpeed=0&holyFreeze=0&decrepify=0&chilled=0&slowPercent=0&weapon=Demon+Crossbow+%5B-60%5D&weaponName=Demon+Crossbow&wsm=-60

Here's the main points
- If you use a level 55 enchant sorc, explosive arrows are the best
- Get a Brand or Demon Machine

- If you play self buffed, 100% pierce is the best, explosive arrows do negligible damage unless buffed specifically by a enchant sorc
- Mist is the best followed by Buriza or Demon Machine (upped) with a Razortail

- If you have enigma you should aim for 75 fcr bp
- This means you need fcr on gloves or a 2/20 (15) ammy

- If you don't use enigma aim for razortail and demon machine
- If you do use enigma and are in the gearing process, use Buriza
- Enigma and a level 55 Enchant sorc? Brand
- Enigma and Self buff? Mist

FWIW the self buff (not even prebuffing hex bane) enigma 75 fcr mist bowlock melts p8
100% peirce on 12k magic projectiles (self buff) vs no peirce magic projectiles but have 6k fire damage AOE (that you dont use a sunder charm for) are pretty close in damage tbh.
