You never asked me several times what other reason they would do this. I'll start there:

Did you ever think they maybe recycled a character render to get the website up quickly? Honestly, the faces look the same on the Amazon and the Necro, so quite possible it's just a copy/paste for efficiency and is not final. This is my point. You're upset about something that is quite possibly a non-issue, but making about something you're so clearly offended by: The idea that it could be to make the Amazon look older? Or what exactly is your problem?

You really think I'm upset by the rantings of a random on the internet that clearly has intolerant views and doesn't understand the inner-workings of videogame production enough to even think critically about why something might not be perfect this far out from launch?

This isnt about tolelance, its about replicating a game we all love. They clearly didnt just "improve the graphics" on the existing models from vanilla, they changed them. Op goes a step further and calls identity politics involved in it, which i agree with, seeing how this happens not only here but in most videogames.

It's either about bad character models or it's about intolerance.

I think we should be a bit more progressive and not state or assume any gender for any of the characters, they should have the freedom to decide which gender represents them the most, even if they lack self-awareness it's rude that someone else decides their gender for them, also we should consider the possibility of them feeling identified as non-binary or even transspecies.
