240% extra ED isn't all that huge a deal for bowazons. Its a significant buff but not a huge one, like the D/A/E ungodly and massive buffs
If a dex zon already had ~1200% ed in pvm with an a1 merc / windforce build, that means she's dealing +15% overall damage with the new synergies
its a bigger buff for vita telezons in pvp, where you have less % ed. A zon that only had ~800% ed on a faith build will get +27% overall damage

and its not an inconsiderable amount of skill points. Nobody maxed multi before, and only pure bowazons max guided since it was so low a benefit before. It does make an argument for an Osama zon using max plague / poison / guided / multi and 1 point rest. As opposed to damach zon which had to be rethought to be something like 1 fury and max CS and dump synergies, which left its fury weaker but CS stronger

I wonder how scary the frenzy barb merc will be for telestomping pvp
regular barb merc already had uninterruptible, immune to FHR attacks and could hit twice per attack
but frenzy barb might swing faster on the initial hit. And if it has the same "2x base / 3x min/max" damage per weapon its going to be stupid, but I doubt they'd copy/paste that buggy damage formula

You go for the serious pvp scenarios. Meanwhile, I am very interested in watching my a5 merc I try to use frenzying offscreen at the speed of light going who knows where.
