The runewords made were never meant to replace the best gear. They have said over and over again they were looking to add some stuff to the middle of the game which I believe they have accomplished.

The buffs to most things were kept at a minimum because it's the first patch in what 11 years? This is something that can and will keep adjusting.

The point is that they have added more options build wise for us and items to use before you get the better gear.

Too many people don't understand the concept of what's going on here. And no they aren't going to balance around pvp ever so get that out of your head if your going to mention zon/ama/pal or nec buffs.

They didn't ruin any current builds but they made new builds viable. So that's a success

This isn't even the actual patch. This is the PTR patch. Some of this will probably change significantly.

Loving all of this except super disappointed in the new level 85 areas. Weird areas most people didn’t have high up on the list to MF. Also want a reason to do more of A4 other than chaos/River which they failed to do.

Regardless this to me are all great ideas to push the game further. zon/Bone Necro/Sin new pvp Meta for sure

Necro, Zon and Sin definitely stole the show today (Druid honorable mention)

Why is no one taking about HYDRAS with no casting delay?

Of course. That's why any actual concerns we need to bring up

- phy changes to fissure
- additions to throwing barb
- warcry dmg buff 30% not enough
Etc

Can’t help those who can help themselves. It’s a GREAT day to be a zon, perhaps your BEST day ever

GENERAL GAMEPLAY CHANGES
1. Character hit block will no longer apply while your character is playing a skill pre-cast animation (Block will still trigger for the skill's post-cast animation).
2. Character hit recovery will now have diminishing returns when being hit by another player.

Seems they're at least trying to address WSG removal, overall I really like these patch notes except for some PvP concerns, leap speed buff, FoH delay buff, bone skill buffs to name a few, but hopefully they get good feedback from the PTR and tune stuff as needed.
