Remember there is running penalty to block, while running it's reduced to 33% effectiveness. So if you have 75% block and get caught out running/charging, you only have 25% effective block.

If you want to maintain 75% block you need to be "walking" or standing still.

Seen this thread a few times now, some pvpers forgot this is a thing because a few private pvp realms patched this out and let you keep 100% block while running(I agree with that change!)

I dont do shitty bm duels... in a gm duel sin is op af. 8.5k traps will melt your pally while I clip it with 3.5k ww with psn/ow. Like I said yes pally is CHEAPER to make good but their end game is weak.

"GM" is NOT dueling. Making up little rules to try and "balance" the play is such a nonsensical trash mindset.

What you refer to as "BM" dueling is where the actual skill and planning comes into play.

Try hopping into a pub game and slapping a Javazon right quick while still wearing two Ravens and a 4 Sapphire Monarch for the Blizzer that 1 shots everyone in the game then maybe you can talk.

Most JSP duelers are soft as baby shit. Any tournaments held here are basically the Special Olympics of dueling and not to be bragged about.

man, GM rules exist so more than like 2 classes can play.

Without them, you can negate any class that uses elemental dmg with a couple of rings. What's point of pvping in a sorc when any class can throw on a couple of dwarfs/wisps and literally heal from your attacks? You can't call yourself good if you can't beat a sorc without bm sorb.

Sorry, but relying on BM just means you aren't good at the game and can only win via cheese and gear. Anyone can do that, no one is impressed by someone who only duels bm.

I'm sorry but you're just bad. If your shitty sorc got sorbed and you have a problem with it.. then save and exit and go get another character. The point your missing is the person who just sorbed you had to sacrifice certain gear to do so.. leaving them easy marks for other players.

Dueling is all about finding the proper balance. FFA duel games are honestly the truest measure of skill.

Have fun dueling a small circle of nobodies with your "GM" rules lmao.

It's been over 15 years for me, but I was good at both GM and BM, including FFA and tvt.

Anyone decent was good at them all. If you can only bm, you aren't good. End of story.

Putting on belt + ring or 2x rings to negate all elemental dmg is not even a sacrifice, even less so if you slap on hotspurs. You just aren't good, and you never were.
