So the options are:
A] You didn’t die this way
B] You experienced a miracle event and have zero evidence to show people that it can happen again

It's been suggested that it's possible to "Hostile" a player but only the swords cross on the party screen (no indicator on you main hud, no sound through the game packets). If this is possible it could explain the very impossible scenario you've outlined.

I can hostile while in a party, I just can't hostile the party I'm in, I'm fairly certain. I've never tried to take my party members TPS WHILE hostile to another party recently. Is that possible (this question is directed to guy not at work like me who can test lol)
