Theres just no point in playing more than once

PvP has some hope. Not nearly at d2 level but it does have some potential if they cared to address it.

Problem is most developers today are in the Disney Marvel phase. Release cookie cutter games that have a successful track record. When that starts failing, don't worry, here comes the reboot! After that we will start on the prequels. All of the above is just a re skinned dumb downed version of a game you played 20 years prior.

once you realize its just a gear treadmill without anything super interesting you eventually will quit.
Happened to me when playing auctioncraft in d3, realized i was just farming the AH to be able to play the game i was supposed to be playing in the first place, and there was nothing interesting about the items nor anything interesting to do with them. Reached the same conclusion very quickly after coming back to it prior to D4's release(played it to make sure i wasn't missing anything) D4 will be the same way. After you've played it once, replaying it becomes a dubious use of time.
