I did, I am and I do. They stayed true to homm3 and added a couple of new features, which really make sense. You can make your own maps and wait for the community to provide theirs, it's endless fun all over again :hail:

i'm considering getting it but i usually cringe at the thought of playing an early access game. how complete is it at this point ?

i think you misunderstood the totalitarian analogy. you could donate both your kidneys and your mother along with them, it won't protect you from arbitrary demise if your actions are deemed unworthy by someone higher-up

would advise to create your own website to do that

It's quite big already, there are 6 factions and loads of maps. Haven't played through the campaign yet but it's supposed to be good. Sunk several hours into skirmishes already and you can get new maps from other people free off the internet. Haven't encountered a single bug or anything yet
