Yes he was it was the 3rd time it had happened to him as well me I have been very lucky the only thing I lost was my cube back 3 months ago when the game was really really bad

I had this issue also at the beginning of the game : Horadric cube disappeared... !

That's definitely annoying and likely due to the server instability, especially near the beginning.

Losing large amounts of inventory items is apparently a longstanding glitch when you exceed 8kb of character file size. This happens with a lot of 1-slot items especially rares/crafted jewelry with a lot of data and affixes.

It happens with online and offline. When they increased the stash size, they did not increase the character file size limit, so this can happen to many who keep full inventories (and not just mass crafters).

I would assume you simply need to pick the right spots that have a short walk. So places like Trav/Chaos/Eld&Shenk/Pindle etc... I'd avoid places like tower and durance lvl2.
Being an hdin has its benefits even without enigma, since vigor is a synergie that can also help your mobility.

But ultimately, having teleport is way better imo.

Frigid Highlands.
Pindleskin.
River of Flame.
Chaos Sanctuary.
Worldstone Keep. (leave if MI unravellers, put Thundergod's on for souls)

You want that one guy in your circle to start off with a paladin. One reset from Akara, and you'll have a leveled smiter ready to have a torch on day one.

Agreed.
Ive even gone so far as to self rush myself. I used 2 pcs, and 2 d2lod cdkeys simultaneously, same account, just to keep it all legit without fear of any kind of ban.
Cant with d2r, my second pc is too old.
