I play HC and have never needed tgods to teleport to Baal or clear the throne room.

I started season two as a trapper, then went dragon tail mixed with death sentry. It’s best at pvm in my opinion and can two fully charged kick kill p8 diablo. It’s comical. On p8 cows you wreck their ish without issue. Gearing is cheap to get started and has a ton of options. I started with the goal of not using any fg from last season or NL and had Flickering flame, Infinity, Phoenix and Enigma before the end of week 3 iirc. Just farming cows and trav. You’ll need bone break and flame sunders.

Tgods isn't necessary, it just makes souls a complete non issue and that helps as a whole. Most things work a thousand times right up until they don't and you die. Disconnect at a bad soul pack and you'll have maybe wished that you had a tgods on. 🤷‍♂️

Definitely not to souls...they can't hurt you when you wear a tgods with maxed res even when cursed....maybe you should try one at some point. They also give a hefty str boost to help with monarch requirements. 👍

Well, with 85 res and absorb it should actually heal you the smallest amount...it's definitely not an issue standing in souls with tgods on. But whatever makes you feel better. Pretty much any char with 85 light res and tgod can tank souls. 👍

Pvm is brain dead easy, regardless of SC or HC

A pvm sin does not need tgods and shouldn’t be using it.

With 75% resist and weapon block, if you are coming close to dying, the problem is that you are trash in a game where pvm is easy AF and hasn’t changed in 18ish years.


A trapper should be using 2x claw, shako, 2/15+ FCR amulet, arach, Trang, 1x FCR ring.

Sure guy....if you're standing still that weapon block works on spells about 50% of the time. Weapon block works zero percent of the time when you're moving though. Quit RMT'ing your gear and try out pvm sometime. You may learn that tgods can prevent a shitty death to souls. Also, finding two truly GG claws isn't common and may not even happen within a ladder. Weapon block is more commonly used early on before hoto/ss combo is found. Softcore Sally's mindset at it's best though. Try out a HC ladder and see how often your trapper ends up with 2 GG claws that actually out perform hoto/ss survivability and damage. 🤷‍♂️
