I don't know how it currently works, I assume teleport is cancelled during early frame checks and block frames start. Hence block prevents you from teleporting away.

It interrupts your tp. That's what faster block rate is for. It lets you recover faster and tp out.

So what happens if you don't block and are hit during skill pre-cast frames, would it trigger hit recovery (potentially) and cancel teleport? That would be my guess.... In which case, I'd prefer the block lol

It gets interrupted also. You can get locked in and can't tp out. That's where fast hit recovery kicks in. That's why it's so important in pvp and hc. Getting locked in a hit animation gets you killed cuz you can't tp out.

Ya, change makes no sense then. Why remove block on pre-cast, beats being being hit!

They made it you still cast the spell but gets interrupted after it gets casted and takes longer to cast a 2nd time. Where as before you cant cast at all cuz you can get locked in until you die and not get a cast out. It's a buff in a sense.

But do you lose hp now from that hit, where block would’ve been triggered but was… postponed? I assume the answer is no, because otherwise it doesn’t make any sense. You would be losing hp AND suffering from the block animation later on.

Hmm... I've tested it on PTR 2.4 a little bit with a sorc teleporting through the cow packs but I couldn't spot any difference. You guys have tested it? Did you see anything different?

I was expecting the block animation to be displayed (sometimes) after I land at the tele destination but haven't seen this even once.

put on a shield with zero faster block and add enough dex to hit 75% block. Try teleporting through packs with that on.
