taunt reduces AR and DMG of the target which means you are less likely to get hit and if you do it's also less dmg.

Not great for endgame but for the cost it's super good

Personally I like it. This is going to be great for my early ladder Frenzy barb, with maybe a lightsabre or Lawbringer or something.

I like this.

You can start with melee now. Before you need eth base and mal for oath. Now you can get this pretty easily.

And also good for a5 merc with sorc. For example cs blizz. If taunt procs to oblivions a5 merc will kill them pretty fast.

And maybe light sorc as starter also because merc is better early for light immune archers.

Another semi-impractical runeword that will rarely be used. D2 sticking to its roots.

Oh boy if you only saw the merc changes.

This gives 39% damage reduction on taunt with a flat 8 pdr and 8% leech. This will be Uber effective at keeping @5 mercs alive. Especially against things like cows.

This is the melee version of "spirit". Even then, it's not as OP as spirit and is in fact more expensive. Its a move in the right direction to make untweaked melee viable. Like!
