Its the same shit as always, non-ladder wont be able to make ladder only rune works and non ladder eco will get out of control again. Also ladder has higher drop rates (blizz never exposed this but true ladder players know)

I'm quite aware how ladder reset has worked in the past :D

Still sounds like op's comment to me, dunno why else they'd emphasize player made runewords:

"At the end of a Ladder season, players who successfully made these Rune Words will have their Ladder characters be moved into a “non-Ladder” version of the game."

How the fuck do you read that as “runewords are bound to 1 character and can’t be traded”

Holy shit it’s amazing that such a high percentage of the d2 populace can’t even be trusted with simple reading
