Can you run your same test with a beast off hand? Some are wondering if we can reach a further BP with fanat. I have one I can sell you and buy back after if you want to try.

You mean just test if Grief + Beast kills faster than Grief x2 because of increased IAS? or something else?

the concern is that we're not sure how exactly having a broken off hand works. If it just treats it as having 2 griefs for 1, then beast is better. damage wise, not cost wise obviously..*

However, if it's actually increasing the speed somehow then we'd want to compare it to beast to determine the new meta.

The other problem is that since the ias caps are removed, the old caps for beast + grief in zerk and phase blade are potentially worthless.

So it's kind of a if this is this, and that is that, then which is better if that makes sense.

im not at the pc rn, but why not test in single player and create a char in hero editor? idk why someone would need to buy a beast

Yeah because the ias BPs are apparently uncapped right now so ppl want to know if we can get more hits in with a beast. I'm running griefz and beast and it seems really good, but I don't have a grief pb right now to test. I figure since pb is faster it should be tested with grief pb+ beast. If it's faster than 2 griefs this night mean beast allows us to hit that next BP that was previously unachievable. And if it does it would be good to try with griefz to see if that's even better.

OH SHIT. This could actually break meta.

How are people testing IAS though? I purely did damage V. damage. To get a clear answer using the Boss Kill method, we'd need the Grief and Beast to be of comparable solo damage.

I was testing this by myself in arcane sac. I do full runs there to kill all monsters on the way and diablo and here are results:
Grief + oath: 8 min run
Grief l+grief:6 min
Grief+ broken dagger: below 5 min run.
