update your router firmware

edit: also go into device setting for your router and choose a preferred
bandwith. sometimes a router will swap between 2.4 and 5. this will cause a short disconnect before establishing connection to one or the other.

Its blizzard and their last update. its not his internet or router. Its causing cpu and bandwith spikes. Specifically during and slightly after taking tp or wp's. Running multiple clients increases this. My fan sounds like its about to explode when loading maps since last update earlier today.

When I do 2 loading screens at a time it makes my fan sound like Im running 3 loading screens at a time. I dont run 3 loading screens at a time since last update because my pc sounds like its about to die now.

Hello there.
Just now my HC baba died after losing my internet connection. I just soloed uber for my first time ever. You can imagine how excited I was with my brand new pala torch. I opened a pub game to try n trade it for a baba torch. I was cleaning the map when suddenly in chaos sanctuary my connection dropped. After a couple minutes I was back online, so I logged into D2 just to see my baba was dead. It has been a hard blow as you guys can imagine. Honestly, at this point I just decided to quit the game. It took lots of luck and dedication to farm all the runes for grief, kingslayer and the rest of uniques and charms. Tonight I thought it all paid off, but I didn't get to enjoy my torch not even for 20 minutes. Sorry for the rant, but I just needed to get it out of my chest. Anyways, I was wondering, if this is a problem caused by the game and not my connection, if there would be a chance for me to recover my char. I bet the answer is a resounding NO, but I thought I'd ask ^^ I would appreciate any kind of reply or advise you guys could provide. Thanks in advance!
