can nova handle the higher level heralds easily?

nope its just a numbers game
a lot of monsters have ~100-250% base HP from monlvl depending on type (7447 base in TZ96), then 450% hp in P8, and 1500% hp for a T5 herald.
Its still gives a range depending on type and affixes, you might have a 500k herald with -100% lightning resist after pierce, or you might have a 1.25 million hp lightning immune brought to -22% resist
if you deal 5000 damage per cast after -resists to that immune, it'll take 250 casts. 125 after static of course

nova is kinda bad facing t5 herald , unless u skip them which is also considered as new meta

and even then, isn't taintlock still faster?

Couple Different Warlock Specs

Warlock/Java/Nova

For Warlock you've got Fire/Bow/Tainted+Demon+Bloodboil

Mosaic is broken its definitely the best spec
Thats why it doesn't exist on ladder

I watched a vid where a content creator said they have inside info on it being rebalanced

nova cant really kill p8 heralds too well, its too much hp, most of nova damage is from the screen clearing static and then finishing off with fast novas
but if you dont kill heralds, nova is still the best ladder clearer imo.
there is no reason to clear heralds. in the race to 99 you dont kill them, and they dont give good loot right now either. they give bad blue gear
so really if youre killing heralds its just for the challenge

Did the loot tables change for the heralds?

So nova can clear the rest pretty fast just not the heralds?
