I think the game is not as fun as it was last season, and the player/game count shows it. Heralds drop table choices are bad game design. They just needed to keep everything from last season and increase sunder drop rates by 2x.

Because ladder is only fun for about a week. Some people have been doing it for 25 years and it's stale. It's been the exact same process since it started. Its a grind my sleep deprived ass doesn't care about anymore.

It also helps to join a group. People run more private games than public, as it nearly eliminates the risk of Party Krashers.
