Will resetting maps automatically reset the seed as well?

Not if you have one manually set in your game parameters, no. But otherwise yes. You should be getting a new seed every time you create a new game, even with the same map. There's a chance there's no set seed and you just happened to see a weird pattern as human brains are super good at noticing patterns even if there technically wasn't one, but my advice is to double check if you have a seed manually set and even if you do or don't, reset your maps. Will keep the mfing a little more fresh too. I personally reset my maps every few runs.

I’m on console. You can’t set anything like you can on pc. I think my best bet is to just reset maps by going into nm and then remaking hell.

Ah, that was my fault. I probably should've guessed that from your guild name... But I really thought console had all the same capabilities except switching region. That's sad they screwed you guys outta stuff like that.

And yeah, just making a nightmare game then hell will give you all new maps and that'll help.

From what I’ve read so far, you can manually change the seed on pc? On console it says all mob drops and unique chests are random, except they can get into the same class seed. They can all keep dropping exceptional vs elite etc. same with static drops like racks. So it sounds like to switch up chests and racks I need to reset maps but it sounds like drops from bosses and mobs are all at random no matter what.

Just run chaos and you’ll get a shako eventually

Durance 3 council and meph will increase rune chances too, but chaos is ideal
I play on switch 2 mostly
Console single player is the purest form of d2 u can play. No cheating or modifying game files. You are playing for keeps

Most of my charms and runes are from LK and the rest is from Chaos
