20 str is also ed, its essentially 4 40% ed jewels on gloves. It's not nothing, but there are usually better options.

wouldn't 20 str and 60 ed be 2x 40 ed jewels? Not 100% on str to ed conversion but i think its 1 str = 1% off weapon ed for swords and most non bow/javelin/knife/claw weapons.

Depending on Griefs damage and before all other gear, including fanaticism Rends will add anywhere between 102 to 270 flat damage.

This is considering 60% rends as it made the math easier.

As others have mentioned, rends are for PvP, the damage offered isn’t noticeable on PvM with Zeal it only matters when VSing players with high PDR% which is capped at 50%.

What's the overall defense? 280? If yes might still worth a bit
