Yeah, problem is, I'm not able to grind that much :( This is solid though!

It's all about grinding and farming if you start with 0 FG.

Also, making FG is easier at the start of the ladder. Right now, most users stoped playing, so it's much harder to sell anything.

You can also try some "gambling" with unid torches, annis or jewels. You can farm these yourself, or if you have some FG, you can buy them unid and hope to get GG rolls that you can sell for a profit.
There's also gambling with NPCs in-game. There's always a chance to buy a GG circlet or something else, like tri-res boots or amulets. It still requires some grinding and gold farming but you mentioned you have a Trav barb, so making in-game gold shouldn't be a problem.

Alternatively, you can try trading items for runes on other dedicated trading sites, but I'm not sure if it's allowed to mention any specific sites here.
Also, try to play with more people in the game. Without going into the details, P3, P5, and P7 increase the chance of item drops.

like, zoiks scoob, but what is wealth to you you brother, do you want one enigma? The luxury of crafting last wish with no regrets just for fun? do you want a 3/20/20 charm inventory? What does "rich in d2r" mean for you and why do you want to get rich.

Personally, I just want to get better at the game, I don't see any value in getting rich if I suck at the game (and a lot of times I do)

Think about it, if you play a lot you'll probably gain more weight because you barely have time to do exercise, but on the other hand you will earn more fgs because you play many hours. I have trained a lot of players this way, such as , , . along with many others (including myself), we are the fattys

As you can see all of them have a lot of fg, except who has been losing a lot of weight lately and me doing some hard jsp shopping.
