POE2 is very good with tons of new endgame content. That being said I don't get the dopamine in poe2 despite dropping 2k+ divs worth of items in 3 days.

I would play d2 if bliz fix the insane delay in Asia (Im in Japan). It is unbearable to tele with this lag. They probably dont give a f bec it is not profitable to invest in d2 servers.

Cant speak for Ladder. But SCNL on RotW is busy, lots of baal runs, endless TZ runs, trade games, a handful of duel games even at odd hours of the day.

Expansion is unfortunately dead as well, almost everyone has converted to RotW and for good reasons

Everyone put effort into last season's ladder only to have it end after 3 months with changes that knocked people's preferred builds. Knowing that this season will likely be similarly short and nothing worth playing ladder added, they didn't bother with this ladder season. I don't think there was any reason to end last season so early, and it turned me into a NL only player moving forward until there's a serious reason to only play a ladder season.
