My initial post was kinda spot on then, a bit of market manipulation and a bit of a flex, knowing you won it over the next guy even if you lose some $$ you won the auction.
some people only can appreciate something relative to its cost. sad but the buyer is always right. I try not to do business this way, but you will see it commonly with those who have been around the block a time or two
