why start a slow hammerdin? farm where? run everywhere? or magic tele staff but very very bad dmg? :p

is not blizz THE goat when it comes to starter... its just all the annoying resistance monsters got.. that makes me wanna go javazone and farm cows in hell or something, not sure.

I'm too lazy to make 2 character every season, knowing sorc will be deleted after I get my hammerdin up running.

Din typically does chaos all day long in the beginning. Its a pretty good starter if you can get past how mind numbing it is. Just have a tele staff on swap to get to chaos from river.

I'm thinking of a rare strategy this time around. I will roll cold sorc and when I get to Hell act 2 I will stop at ancient tunnels and just grind that and Andy

Not sure how it will work out but I'm not one to follow the norm

That’s crazy, never heard of such strategy

eeh, sooo.. what ya'll say is that a Hammerdin can do CS easy with yellow year kind of and a spirit CS and Lore helmet and stealth?

then javazone must be ALOT better to farm hell cows with or where do you even farm early on with a javazone? gonna take some time to get hell baal down
since no one wants to tele or can survive hell first week ^^

java is solid. Cows is where you want to be since the damage scales with density, and there won't be many lightning immunes. Honestly most characters are decent starters these days. I don't have personal experience starting druid or nec though. Opinions will vary, but from my experience:

Sorc - focus boss farming and/or high mlvl areas where your main element isn't a common immunity
Din - can be hammer or foh - chaos
java - cows
barb - trav/pits or horking pub games
sin - when mosaic was around, you could do anything. Not sure these days.
warlock - only played echo strike build and it didn't really have any issues farming anywhere. It is gonna get nerfed next season so I'm not sure how good it will be. I made it to 98.5 last season without even having an enigma and I was full clearing games for sunders.

Hammerdin in yellow year? Are you being racist rn? Can't really tell. But please don't disrespect my people. Hammerdin has always been OP in chaos

Chaos and Trav drop insane loot and hdin can do them quite efficiently despite walking (tele staff the river of flame. No one uses tele to fight mobs it's switch weapon) because they are fixed location maps. These are the best locations to farm on p1. Now that normal bosses drop statue, hdin can sell bk statues too while other classes struggle with non tz and tzhaos due to immunities.

A bliz sorc wants to do key farm and mephisto/andy since they can tele. Andy loot table nefred so..

Plus hdin can do ubers on budget gear
