If it were me, I would have an infinity merc, then have some cheap insights you can turn into iron golem. That way merc can get those first kills in quicker, and I could be wrong but I think pride can freeze/shatter targets which slows how fast you get the army

Yeah, it can freeze and they can shatter but the lvl 16 to 20 Concentration Aura outweighs a few dudes your merc shattered

Edit: at least I would assume, I have never made a summoning necro with Pride on a merc

Can you roll them non lad? I honestly dont know in d2r.
But your iron golem follows you between games til its unsummoned or killed and it really doesn't die much ever on a Summoner.

Merc you could go insight if you wanted because tele/summon can drain mana hella fast. But the damage boost from infinity is hard to beat. Plus you can get a might merc for that added dmg

I just made this char yesterday, grushed, lvl'd to 80 and geared it fully besides Pride merc and Beast. (I have insight on merc and hoto/spirit on necro) And I did this on ladder, that is why I am saying I ain't rich lol

Lol I gotcha. Hoto is nice for that 125 fcr. But I always used beast double axe. Torch/anni/enigma/beast means spirit with no str. Although youll have to use lidless for bo.

20fcr circ, 20ammy, spirit, arach, trang and a for ring cam still hit 125 with beast. But the amulet can get pricy
