For magic immune just use holybolt/foh it's holy dmg so Magick immune don't matter

Nn hellwardens use Shako
Nn maras or fcr on ammy use +3pally combat
Nn 2 sling use 1 soj
Nn gheeds use arachs
Trangs glove is the obvious bis

Going to try FoH Hammer soon so looked into this. Appears that: magic resist can go below 0 but foh holy bolts bypass resist above 0 and that's after your -resist stats so an oblivion knight with 25 magic resist won't be affected by it unless you have a lot so better stat for hammer.

Maybe worth considering 15% magic dam for sunder idk about other stuff

Go full foh, put a grief on swap to smite any annoyingly high health or non demon/undead heralds. Or even keep it in the stash to pull out if needed

Also source on magic rez going under 0?

Hammerdins do be flying under the radar atm.

I am full FoH with Grief and 2x dreams now, zeals anything immune to FoH and smite uber with 1 pt. Works well. Gonna piss around with full hammer and FoH Hammer soon though. They can all 1pt smite if needed

Few things

You should always use pride on a mage

Secondly, you need a 15% magic damage sunderer on mage as -res doesn’t apply to foh, only to hammer

15% to both > -10% just to hammer

For the same reason opal ring with 5% magic > sling

Heck even sojs may be better for this build cos you need some base damage to scale the percentages off of

Haven’t truly revisited mage since rotw but I’m fairly sure this could have a lot of tweaks
