for raw damage, yes. spirit is still spirit, so it's still an amazing shield. HoZ just gives a little more damage output :)

If i got a paladin in normal D2R and he is leveled and geared, can i move him to ROTW when i purchase the expansion (haven't yet, dont want to waste fg on gear if i have to start from scratch)
