some circlets can roll with enhanced damage, so lets so you find a 2/20circ w/ 1 soc but it has edam on the base, that wont be bugged if you add new jewel

bug only happens on phys damage btw, so magic jewels dont get bugged, the jewel in this thing cannot bug
