I played javazon last season ! I liked it except the titans running down! I have full cold mastery ! Just want to do fast kills with 150 + mf ! I like playing p5 or p8 terroz zone split nothing more !

i `ll try but really don`t like blizz sorc its lazy for chilling but its too slow ! Very slow and bad dexterity and Ar !

IS THERE a significant difference between clearing areas with doom adn DF?

I just wondered to buy ormus(3 blizz) facets, mara`s arach and bla bla or just to wait and make a Nova sorck with the best gear as the guidelines showed ? !

Cold sorc is not too good for p8

idk what prices are like right now
but...

if you want to stay budget

switch to blizzorb and get a doom, farm TZs at p3-p5
or
stay blizz and farm bosses at p5


if you want to spend a bit more in hopes of making more earlier in the season, swap to nova for faster clears.
but i'm cheap and would stick with blizzorb + doom, and run on p3 to p5.

your dmg is not the issue

9.5k blizz is already enough for p5, even p8. if you can’t kill, it’s either positioning, uptime or how you’re applying it

blizzard is not a “hold right click and clear screen” skill. if mobs walk out or you’re not stacking hits properly, your real dmg is way lower than what the sheet shows

fathom vs doom is not a big difference for clear, doom just feels smoother because of holy freeze. it doesn’t fix bad kill speed, it just makes it safer

stacking more +dmg gear won’t suddenly make it good on p8. blizz just isn’t a fast p8 clearer compared to nova / java / mosaic, that’s just how it is

if your goal is fast p5–p8 tz clear, either play around blizz properly and lower player count, or swap build. nova will always outperform it there

mf is not your problem either

I have Blizz / Nova sorc with no torch and sunder charm.

Blizz - 4k dmg
Nova - 1.3k dmg

Can solo P8 without any issue but ofc it takes time

MVP advice right here. Doom is nuts. Also stack more skillers you can up the count to 8 easy.

Play style should be cast blizz, static spam a few times, spam orb for cleanup

Doom makes a big difference; cold immunes die much much faster, and those are the ones that really slow you down if you're using fathom.

Don't forget to spam static / frozen orb / ice blast between blizzard casts
