7/9 people on my friend list quit playing D2R in favor of D4 when the new season dropped. Me and Druidika are still enjoying the new content at our own pace.

Anyone who plays d4 is just a tourist in d2 anyway. Can't love d2 and enjoy seriously playing d4 impossible

Obviously people still play the game, but it’s nowhere near the amount of people that should be playing the game. We are a month into reset (almost) and there are more users on the forum browsing d2r than d4 - when I checked this morning there were less than 100 users browsing all d4 forums, and their new season is less than 72 hours old. Which is INSANE considering d4 isn’t even that old. I beat d4 campaign once and have maybe tried it 2-3 times since then, it can’t keep my interest, it’s boring and repetitive and this is coming from someone who has been farming d2 chaos sanctuary for weeks now. Diablo 3 was better than 4 and even that wasn’t very good, just my opinion of course. I tend to find that the people who play d4 consistently haven’t even played d2 or d2r.

Gee I wonder why.
Maybe because some people sell 40x perfect arachnid mesh at once 3 months after reset?
First season and preseason time when d2r launched the economy was waaaaayy more stable, I remember running cows and making insane amount of fg. Now if you keep found hrs for longer than 3 days they melt in value

That's interesting to point out user activity. I'm thinking about trying d4 with the new expansion but I paid 90 for the early og release and never made past lvl 26 on my rogue.

I just didn't like the game enough and went back to d2r.

I'm like you where I played more d3 than d4. D4 is better imo, but I just don't want to play it. I can't put my finger on it.

Yea...Ist went from 200 to now 50 within 1.5 weeks. This is my start ladder with jsp and pricing between ladder and nonladder is disorienting at first.

it's just soulless man, there's no substance or content there

it's visually better and new + shiny but there's nothing to keep me there
