i'm very aware of lag and how it affect's hc, i've died to lag in hc many times. what happened before i made this thread is not what has happened all of those times

no, im seeing that you are stuck on a false confirmation that is contrary to what i've directly typed. maybe it was lag, but i've described what happened which is the opposite of the lag deaths ive had in the past, but you've typed multiple times you are certain of something bc of your previous experience

Because losing connection to the server, and your character staying in game is not the same as lagging because your connection is slow

You drink potion, hear sound of potion, but potion don't work because your connection is already lost and not sending the info to the server where the actual magic happens, you are already disconnected, it just takes a bit sometimes for your client to kick you to lobby, and even longer to kick it out on server side, which is why you couldn't join a game immediately, because you were still in a game server side, like I already said

you are falsely re imaging what ive described, which is still not the entire picture of what happened. i was watching the other players move and attack, i was watching my health go down, not frozen, i was able to attack and move and watch the mobs hp i was attacking going down

your premise was off from the start. i've also died many times leaving as i died, which can also result in the character still in game message. i had just died so typed out everything that happened which is why i included that detail, which you then made a completely different assumption off of
