Sarcasm? The formula rolls 1-6 sockets and if it rolls above max it just gives max. That’s 3 possible rolls under 4 and 3 possible rolls from 4 and up. 3-3 50-50.

You have to be some new kind of mathematician.

How is this hard to understand? The max sockets is 4. Of it rolls 5 sockets, you get 4. If it rolls 6 sockets, you get 4.

We can work out a fg hourly rate if you need me to teach you more.

Monarch has got a practical maximum of 4 sockets.

1/6 = 1 socket = 1 socket on monarch
1/6 = 2 sockets = 2 sockets on monarch
1/6 = 3 sockets = 3 sockets on monarch
1/6 = 4 sockets = 4 sockets on monarch
1/6 = 5 sockets = 4 sockets on monarch, since it can't get 5
1/6 = 6 sockets = 4 sockets on monarch, since it can't get 6

1/6 + 1/6 + 1/6 = 3/6 = 0,5 = 50% chance for a monarch getting 4 sockets.
