testing the gigantic hp pools would be the obvious test, base damage would be almost identical
I'd like to see it but yeah uh its not easy to test

ideally you'd want pvp against a slow large constant poison damage so you can count # seconds, don't think any pvm poisons will be remotely high enough
need poison to disable regen, unless we're doing a no regen mob like heph, but then how do you get constant high DPS to count there?

need mods or source code otherwise



also based on the way it operates otherwise, I do not believe p8 makes a difference
It is resummoning your demon at the start of each game with its current mastery / bind demon level, so it would make sense if it the base HP of the demon actually scales with.... the number of players already in the game when you join it
if that's the case, then any P1 or P8 binded demon makes no difference, but making a new game always gives 100% bind hp while being last person to join an 8p game would give 450%

that's my pure speculation though

Correct, and easy to test. Had level 1 mastery / 1 bind and gear with +100 skills. Demon would ohko everything, including in new games. Then remove gear, join a game, put gear back on- demon hit like a wet noodle and died

Monster type, level, its quality (champion / unique) and affixes (including aura type) are all snapshotted at binding and stay in new games. Its HP and damage and other monlvl stats are recalculated with resummoning on gear as you join a game. Not quite clear on what is snapshotted for base stat values or scaling with p8 or so on.
