It's your call. Prices always keep going down. Until they reach the level of non-ladder, but this means that ladder is already dead.

If you made let's say... 10k during the first week of the ladder then week 3 you should be able to buy a nice 2nd char for fun spending ~5k. That's how I've always thought about this.

ladder is dead after 1 month. That's literally why prices drop to near NL prices.
